Nodes named "Variables", "Process instantiation" or "System definition" are used for declarations or definitions. Declarations and definitions should be written in their textual format given by the syntax for the system description language defined in a separate help section.
"Variable" declarations may be either local or global and can declare both clocks, bounded integer variables (and arrays of such variables), constants, and channels. The syntax of local and global declarations are described in the help page Declarations.
Note: clicking a declaration with the right mouse button causes a pop-up menu to appear which has an item for showing syntax errors.
